Celebrating the 240th Anniversary of Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcalá
July 24-26, 2009

The Festival Committee counts on the generosity and support of
numerous individuals and organizations to make this event a success.
There are several ways that you can help!

Festival of the Bells Schedule

Come and help commemorate the annual anniversary celebration of the founding of Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcalá, California’s first Mission 240 years ago, by coming to participate in the festival of the bells that will take place starting on:

Friday, July 24 the festival will be open from 5:00pm-9:00pm
With our own parishioner talent show from 7pm to 9pm

Saturday, July 25 the festival will be open from 12:00 noon - 9:00pm
With Blessing of the Bells at 12:00 noon in front of the Mission.
Go back in time with the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s music of the “The Legends”
performing on the festival stage from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.

Sunday, July 26 the festival will be open from 11:00am to 5:00pm
Start off with a Festival of the Bells breakfast in our Mission Courtyard
Menu will be Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Pancakes, Juice and Coffee
Prices: $6.00 for adults and ages 10 yrs and up
$3.00 for ages 5-9 yrs
Free for age 4 and under
Breakfast hours are 8:00am to 11:00am
The Blessing of the Animals will take place at 3:00pm on the festival stage.

There will be food, opportunity drawings, games for children and adults,
and plenty of entertainment for everyone.
Admission is FREE
